Aims and Scope

Journal of History Education and Curriculum Review (HEC Review) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the empirical and theoretical study of History Education :

  • How we plan history learning,
  • Historical learning processes through schools, universities, museums, places of public remembrance, resort destinations, heritage sites, neighbourhood history organizations, and other official and unofficial settings,
  • Methods and models used in history learning,
  • Historical learning strategies,
  • Historical learning innovation,
  • Evaluations carried out in history teaching

Submissions from literature studies of historical education curriculum & pedagogy studies are all welcome.
